Christen Garay '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Christen Garay. I am a junior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. I will be graduating in 2023. I have been cheering for ten years. I have four years of recreational cheer, five years of all star cheer levels 2, 3, 4, and 6, and three years of high school cheer. In allstar cheer, I have competed and won at many competitions such as JAMZ, USA, PAC West, Spirit Sports, NCA, and Summit. I also had the amazing opportunity to compete at Worlds, coming in 5th place. As far as high school cheer, I was selected to be on JV as a freshman, and then Varsity as a sophomore and junior. I was a Varsity cheer captain. I also received the Coaches award and Scholar Athlete award with a 4.3 GPA.

As a freshman, I also tried out for the Varsity Stunt team and made it, before covid had taken place. I was put into many routines and learned all of the basics and rules that make up the sport. I am now on the Stunt team again this year and can’t wait to start the season!

My goal is to be recruited by a University where I can continue cheering and stunting and gain even more experiences. I’m a dedicated  athlete that works hard  to exceed to the highest level of skill.  When I set a goal, I go out and I achieve it!
