Hi!
My name is Cassidy Lawrence, and I am excited to begin my junior year of high school.
I found my love for crowd involvement and athletic support when I began cheering in middle school. The rush from the crowd during games further solidified my dreams of cheering in college, after my very first high school Friday Night Lights game. I was hooked! I am fortunate to have served as a flyer, base and tumbler for my high school team.
When I am not cheering at school games, I can be found in the all-star gym, where I get to create and master fast-paced stunts, dance and tumble my heart out; always giving my whole heart to my teams and best friends.
Structure, rigor and high expectations have always been important to me. As a former gymnast of 10 years, I appreciate and respect the rewards that dedication and hard work consistently provide. With academics as my main priority, I am proud to have maintained my 4.4 g.p.a while balancing one sideline school cheer team and two nationally ranked all-star teams this past season. The dedication and hard work mentality that I've learned from my early gymnastics coaches has helped prepare me for my future. I have learned to thrive under pressure, strengthen my time management skills, and refine my focus in all areas.
I'd love to continue my academic journey by pursuing both Kinesiology and Business at the collegiate level, with the intention of developing a career in Exercise Science.
Sharing my energy and excitement for athletics and academics both on and off the field is what I am most looking forward to after high school. I am excited to learn more about colleges and programs that are a great combination of both.
Thank you!
