My name is Anastasia Ditko and I've been in love with cheerleading for over 10 years. I started teaching myself tumbling in my backyard through YouTube tutorials and taught myself how to do a front walkover before I joined competitive cheerleading at the age of 8, and I still strive to push myself in athleticism and my education. I quickly fell in love with the sport and went on to become a D2 Summit champion, as well as a D1 NCA champion and top 3 D1 Summit finalist; along with many achievements in school, I continuously work hard and push myself to always do better than the last day, and I one day hope to become a registered nurse.
Some of my goals include competing in cheerleading at the collegiate level, along with the chance to compete at the college nationals in Daytona Beach. Some of my hobbies outside of cheer include community service, I enjoy giving back to my community and I love to help out with the youth of cheer, such as junior coaching. I also enjoy reading and teaching myself how to bake! I believe that cheerleading and the hobbies I've taken up have helped build my character, and I pride myself on being extremely hard-working and resilient. I have confidence in my leadership abilities to better myself for the good of those around me, especially on my team, and I hold myself to a high standard and take all criticism from coaches and teammates as a means to become the best version of myself.
I want to surround myself with those who will push me to be the best athlete I can be and a college that will provide me with the excellent education necessary to become a nurse. I am open to most four-year colleges that want the best for me and I want to find the best match with a strong college and an even stronger cheer team that will make all the years of hard work and training worth it. I strive to live up to my parent's expectations of becoming the best athlete and student I could possibly be, and providing my peers around me with that same support.
