Personal Statement

My name is Kathryn Gibson and I attend Palm Desert High School and will graduate with the Class of 2024. I have been involved in school cheer for the past 10 years . This will be my fourth year as a Varsity cheerleader and I am Co-Captain. I have been on the HS competition team for 3 years. This will be my 8th year in All Star cheer. This year I am at California All Stars- San Marcos on the Worlds team Sparkle which is a level 6. I have built many strong friendships.with my teammates. I love the the energy and environment it provides at the gyms and competitions. In Allstar and school cheer the energy from competitions and football games is unmatched. The friendships make me a better teammate and leader. When I am on the mat it’s not about me it’s about the team and how we can improve together for a better performance and technical score.
