Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Kayla Elizondo! I am currently a part of the Casa Grande High School varsity sideline and competition team.

I am 17 years old, and this upcoming season will mark my 13th year as a cheerleader. I started off in pop warner at 6 years old and transferred to all-star when I was 11. I am both a flyer and a tumbler, and I am always eager and willing to try new things! I am also the oldest sister of a family of 7 which made finding things just for me difficult, however cheer gave me that healthy outlet. From the minute I joined an extra circular program I knew I would never be more passionate about something. This sport and the memories I have made from it are by far the best thing in my life. It’s the very reason for who I am today.
