Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Kaleyanna Schmidt. I’m 17 years old and a junior in highschool. I have done all-star cheer on and off for a total of 6 years since age 6, making this year my 7th! I’m currently a level 5 flyer at Front Range Elite Cheer in Colorado Springs. I have a major background in gymnastics as well! I competed in gymnastics from age 5 until age 12, reaching level 9, training level 10 with 2nd place AA finish in NC State Championship and 1st place AA finish in Southeast Regionals.
Since as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a strong love and passion for cheer. Currently, I am driving 2 hours to and from practice three days a week. I have put all my commitment, time, love and energy into this sport and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m willing to do what it takes to become the best I can be in this sport and be a role model for those who aspire to be in all-star cheer or cheer for college one day!
