Nasia Hammac '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi! 

My name is Nasia Hammac. I am currently a Junior at West Haven High School in West Haven Connecticut! I am currently focusing on meteorology and sports! I also am on the varstiy track team. I started this year (my junior year) with indoor track then continued in the spring and qualified for states for high jump. I tied 11th out of 31! I  have been cheering since I was 5 years old and have worked my way up to being on the varsity team! I also was awarded with the 2021 All American award this year at camp! I have a 3.7 GPA and was recently ranked at 35/456 at my school. I am only enrolled in 1 honors class but have been taking honors classes each year of highschool. I was inducted into the national honors society, received a scholar athlete award and was also selected to be a peer advocate. I have a very bright personality and will be willing to help and be the best I can in any way.  In middle school I was also apart of the Quinnipiac scholars and received a $5,000 scholarship to Quinnipiac. For college I am looking to major in meteorology and become a meteorologist as well as continue cheerleading and/or track!
