Kyleigh Nguyen '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Kyleigh Nguyen from Springfield, IL. I’m a senior at Glenwood High School in Chatham, IL and my position is a flyer. I have loved tumbling, cheering, and performing since I was little. When I entered middle school, I was able to join my first sideline cheer program. I fell in love with the sport! The ability to cheer on my school and team, bring spirit to the sports programs, learn new routines and techniques, and build lasting friendships has been the best experience. I made Varsity as a freshman and since then, I have been honored with being awarded Athletic-Academic All-Conference Honor Roll, Scholastic Heisman Award, and All-American Cheerleader by UCA and NCA.

Being able to cheer in college would allow me to gain valuable friendships, support the local community, and also support my college team! My goal is to find a college with strong academic and athletic programs and to major in Biology on a pre-med track. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
