Lily Gibson '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Lily Gibson, I have been cheering since I was in 3rd grade. I started out with recreational football cheer and I instantly fell in love with it. I decided to take a break year this year to focus on working and school, but I still ended up getting back into it. I think I would be a good match for your school because I am a fast learner with the routines, for example I learned a completely new spot within 2 practices right before regionals. I'm a very versatile person, this season I'm filling in as the mascot but I've also been on mat as just a normal cheerleader. I'm a team player, I will always support everyone to the best of my ability. It doesn't matter if off mat we never talk, on mat all issues drop and we work together. My tumbling and my jumps need to be worked on, but there's always room for improvement and I'm working towards them. I want to continue my cheer career for as long as possible, I want to grow to the best of my abilities with new people to become friends with and make new memories with. This year I have been able to balance my school, work, and cheer very well. I have been more focused on my school and more involved.
