I am currently a Junior, about to be a Senior at Simon Kenton High School in Independence, KY. I am a 5'8" Tumbling Backspot which I have been told is a unique trait. I have been cheering since I was 5yrs old with our local church organization, moved to the local pee wee league until I was 12. At 12, I tried out and made the high school JV squad being the youngest to have done this. I was selected for the Varsity squad my sophomore year in 2021 but due to some health issues I resigned my spot. After recovering I ventured into All Star cheerleading at Pride Cheer Academy in Erlanger, KY. In my first season, we received 2 Grand Championships, and National Championship. This year I am on the Senior Level Four team with our most recent score was an 89. I will be competing at CheerMax Nationals this April and then to Florida Finals at the end of April. Next year my team projects to be a Senior Level 5 team and we will have the opportunity to travel to Japan to compete for the United States.
I am hoping to continue my cheer career in college with a smaller school that is within 2 hrs of Northern Kentucky but am open to other prospects. I plan to pursue a career as an elementary teacher. I am a small town girl, so the idea of a large school does cause me some pause but I would not pass up the right opportunity.
