Growing up, cheer has always been a major aspect of my life. Due to my competitive nature, I always strive for success, and I push myself to grow better each and everyday. Throughout my 9 years of experience, I have overcome many struggles, ranging from mental blocks to injuries. When faced with a mental block however, I have realized with my perseverance I can overcome the block with hard work and dedication. After suffering minor injuries, I went through physical therapy which helped me realize I can help others by entering the health care industry. Helping others has always been another passion of mine, and I was able to express my passion by volunteering as a tutor for a Title I school. At the Title I school, I also helped establish a cheer club program, and became a volunteer Jr. Coach, to share my passion of cheer while cultivating the next generation of cheerleaders.
While it may seem difficult to balance school and college cheer. I currently thrive while balancing school, cheer, a part-time job, and also the extra curricula I participate in. Alongside my advanced level classes, I am a member in the National Honor Society, the secretary for the Women's Student Union, and I also am a member of my choir's Special Events Committee. With my multiple practices a week and a group class, I also find time to take part in private lessons so I can advance and learn new skills. With each responsibility I focus on each task at hand and put in all my effort. My dedication, drive, tenacity, and ability to take direction makes me an asset to any activity I partake in and that is why I am a great candidate for a 2025-2026 cheer team.
