Hi! I am Lacey Coates I am a varsity cheerleader at Maryville Christian School. I have been cheering since I was five. My teammates describe me as someone always willing to try something new, a hard worker, and a caring and uplifting teammate. My time in cheer and competitive robotics has taught me the value of hard work and connecting with people. Whether it is encouraging JV before their first game or being goofy with my team I believe it is important to be friends first and foremost with your teammates, a team who loves each other will be a successful team. I value my education and will be more than happy to help my teammates achieve success on the field and in the classroom! I hope to be able to cheer in college due to the impact cheer has had on me in middle and high school.
I can do many different types of stunts such as straight-up extended held liberty, straight-up Baja, preps with and without a back spot, one man, prep to extension, cradles, show and go liberty, and a chair. I have the honor of attending the 2024-25 UCA All-American Citrus Bowl where I hope to learn and grow my skills even more!
