Jennifer Choate '17 Recruiting Profile

My burning desire is to become a Pediatrician or Family Practice Doctor.  In a perfect world, I will become a military doctor serving the families of our service members.  Why you ask? Because this is the environment in which I was raised.  I can think of no better life than to give back to those who have given me so much.  I see my love of field hockey and ability as a goalie as providing an opportunity for me to achieve my educational and career goals.

I am much more than just a gifted athlete.  I am a scholar and a leader with a proven record of success and accomplishment.  I was the Peterson AFB/Boys and Girls Club (BGCA) Youth of the Year in 2013-14 and 2014-15.  In 2015, I was honored to be selected as the BGCA Military Youth of the Year for the State of Colorado.  I am also the Southwest Mountain Region Representative to the Air Force Teen Council where I help develop programs and advocate to senior military leaders on teen related issues.  I have maintained a 4.0 GPA in an academically rigorous high school and am on track to complete 18-hrs of college credit by the time I graduate.

I am looking for the right school that will help me continue my athletic career while preparing me to reach my life goals.
