A big quality that makes me stand out as both a player and a person is my strong work ethic, hustle, and sense of determination. Ever since I started playing field hockey, I always had a constant drive and desire to get better. I constantly strive to become a better player. I make sure that I learn from my mistakes and what I can improve upon. My coach holds individual meetings at the end of each season, and he always recognizes how I am one of the hardest workers. My coach has repeatedly said to me that he can always rely on me to give 100% whenever I step on the field, and the amount of effort that I put in is enormous. As a player, I am a solid defender who is looking to stop my opponents and start the attack. Field hockey has not only taught me determination, but it has allowed me to grow as an individual. I've discovered the many things I am capable of. My strong work ethic has carried over into the classroom as well. I have mantained a 3.9695 cumulative GPA while taking numerous honors/AP classes, and becoming a member of the National Honor Society. I have a huge passion for this sport, and I would love to continue playing at the collegiate level.
