Hello, my name is Alyssa Reynolds and I'm a junior at Somers High School. I've been playing field hockey since 2nd grade and instantly fell in love with the sport. I've been a starting varsity player my freshman, sophomore, and junior years and a team captain my sophomore and junior years. My sophomore and junior years I was awarded the All Conference Award and was also selected for the Junior Select All Star game. I am currently playing on the HTC U19 High Performance indoor team in the winter. Since I was little I've always wanted to play field hockey in college and would be honored if i got the opportunity to. While trying to juggle homework, sports, and other extra curricular activities, being a student athlete has helped me better manage my time and has made me a well rounded person overall. I am always there for my teammates and cheering them on any chance I get. I am always open to applying any feedback my coaches give me and I work hard at being the best player I can be for myself and my team. My leadership, perseverance, and grit would be an excellent edition to any team.
