Ava Strickland '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ava Strickland and I am a 5’3” 140lb Defensive back varsity field hockey player at Stafford High School. I joined the middle school field hockey team in 8th grade where I started every game and contributed to an undefeated season. I am a natural athlete and I was surrounded by peers that helped me pick up the sport quickly and improve my skills. since then I have been a Varsity starter for the high school team being 1 of 2 freshman to start varsity. I am a hardworking student and athlete who has so much love for the sport as well as my teamates. My coaches consider me a leader who is always prepared and ready to work. I always strive to be better for myself and for my team.
