I am a very dedicated athlete and I'm a natural born leader. I am looked up to by my fellow team members for guidance in the game and at practice. I recently attended the ECC Athletic Leadership Conference where only 10 students from every school in my conference were chosen by our athletic directors who thought we were leaders with lots of potential to play in college. I think I'm a good candidate for any collegiate field hockey or lacrosse team because I work very hard all the time, I run until the last second and never give up. I've been through plenty of tough games but I never get upset no matter the score, I always play as if we are in a tournament. I have a strong love for sports, I feel at home on the field and it would be a shame to end my athletic career on my high school turf. I believe I am different from other recruits because I am and always have been very focused on my grades as well. I always aim for the highest grades I can get and always ask for help. I know that I can't remain on the team if my grades slip, so I do all I can to stay on the team. I am also very understanding and a good listener. I would never discourage my team or be mean to a teammate. I believe in constructive criticism but I don't believe in being mean. I am determined to show coaches that I'm not just a great player, but a great person they can depend on in games. I am a very versatile player, I can play any position on the field, except goalie. In lacrosse I play all positions and can take the draws. I am mainly a midfielder and forward for field hockey but I can play defense if really needed. I am a very dedicated player and hope to continue my athletic life into college.
