Alexis Loder '20 Recruiting Profile

Winning the bronze medal at the National Futures Tournament has been the highlight of my field hockey career. After competing at such a high level of play, I am excited for the challenge of collegiate field hockey. Throughout my playing career, I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing coaches who have really encouraged my love of the game. I look forward to playing every day. I love being a part a team and working with talented players who consistently challenge me to be a better goalie and a better teammate. 

This year my high school team was moved up a division in our conference. It has been a trying season, but the rigor of our schedule has forced us to support each other and come together as a team in a way that we had not in previous years. As a second year starter in the goal, I have had the opportunity to take a leadership role in directing the defense and keeping the team motivated. 

I am looking for a college that is a good fit for me both academically and athletically. I am prepared to work hard on and off the field to contribute to the success of the team. I am extremely passionate about the game and I have strong leadership ability and a steady work ethic.
