Before I started playing field hockey I always aspired to be as good as the professionals I had seen in film and games. As I became an official field hockey player I began to have a true passion for the sport. My overall goal ever since the start was to become the player I wanted to be and to always push through. I believe my character on and off the field is different from others because when I become passionate about anything I truly put the work in to make it happen. I may not have been playing since I was very young but I believe I've learned and put work in to get where I am and I believe with more work and stamina I could be a potential candidate for a college team. Academically I succeed by taking all honors and starting AP courses this year as well as doubling up on my harder courses like science and math. Coming from a smaller school I've learned to take losses well and from each loss I've learned to better myself as an athlete and to take the losses as another reason to get better for myself and the team.
