Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Alyssa Hammett, and I have been playing field hockey since I was 11. And ever since then, I have been in love with the sport. As far as being a good candidate for the team, I have been captain of the team for one of my seasons, and been given awards for my character and leadership. What makes me different from other recruits is that I can balance academics and athletics as well as I am also well- rounded when it comes to anything, I have been apart of the National Junior Honors Society, Math count, Robotics club, Running club, Hockey club, Honors chorus and as well as the play which I also was the dance captain. I balanced all of this while playing field hockey and being on the honor roll.
