My dedication to field hockey is evident through my year-round play with Strikers Field Hockey, work ethic on and off the field including regular strength training, and strong connection with my teammates and coaches. I’ve been playing field hockey since age 8 and my goal is to continue competing at the collegiate level. My field smarts and upbeat personality would be an asset to any team. I have played almost every position; this adaptability has helped me become a stronger overall player and teammate. I most often play midfield, with occasional shifts on defense for my club team. This year I play both midfield and forward for my high school varsity team. My intuitive passing skills allow me to assist my teammates and lead to scoring opportunities. My consistent role in corners, both offensive and defensive, has allowed me to further develop my game sense, and ability to think fast on my feet.
I strive to improve my physicality, stick skills, and intelligence on the field. I have always dedicated myself to learning and trying new things. I take primarily honors classes with the desire to challenge myself. This passion for adventure and growth is what led me to become certified lifeguard, and utilize my skills learned from athletics in a real world opportunity.
