Meredith Wu '25 Recruiting Profile

I didn't know much about field hockey until I picked up a stick for the first time in 8th grade. From the beginning, I worked extremely hard to improve my skills and fell in love with the sport, practicing my stick skills and ball movement while balancing a rigorous course load from school. Throughout this season, I have become a confident player who always has a positive mindset. Now, I am a 2025 varsity player on the Algonquin Regional High School field hockey team (D1), and I am also committed to my club team Cape Ann outside of school, where I am pushed to my fullest potential at every practice and tournament. I am passionate about the field hockey environment and forming deep connections with my teammates. I am interested in playing at the collegiate level, where I hope to grow as both an athlete and a student.
