My name is Claire Mullen, and I am a rising Senior at Shrewsbury High School in Massachusetts. I am looking for an opportunity to play field hockey in college because playing competitive sports is part of who I am! I plan on pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. My current GPA is a 3.7 and I am enrolled in several honors classes. I am a member/game starter on both the Varsity field hockey team, as well as the Varsity girls ice hockey team. I was named a League All-Star for the 19-20 Field Hockey Season, and was also selected by the School AD to attend the MIAA Sportsmanship Summit at Gillette Stadium in November. I have been elected by my teammates to serve as Captain in both Field Hockey and Ice Hockey for the 20-21 seasons. My current club team is Worcester County Un1ted Field Hockey where I have competed both in U16 and U19 tournaments on the top teams. I started playing field hockey as a Freshman, however I have played ice hockey since I was 4. I believe that my ice hockey experience has provided me with a great portfolio of skills that has transferred over nicely. My primary position is Midfield, but I have experience at both Defense and Forward as well. I am always willing to play in any position where I can help a team the most ! My current club team is Worcester County Un1ted Field Hockey where I have competed both in U16 and U19 tournaments on the top teams.
