Ella Traina '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ella Traina and I attend Ursuline Academy in St. Louis, Mo. and will be in the graduating class of 2024.   I was voted the captain of the JV team by my teammates freshman year and started as a defensive midfielder.   I continue to play for Gateway Elite Field Hockey Club and enjoy learning from my coaches and trying to improve my skills.  What I enjoy most about playing Field Hockey is being a part of a team, both on and off the field.  I strive to be a selfless player as I enjoy distributing the ball to my teammates to get everyone involved.  

I had a good first year academically at Ursuline as I currently have a 4.0 GPA.  I look forward to my sophomore year as I am working hard both athletically and academically.  I hope to attend a university with strong academics and am currently interested in studying Engineering/Architecture in college.  

I look forward to continuing my growth as a player in order to reach my goal of playing field hockey in college!
