I first started field hockey when I was in 7th grade, but I took my 8th grade year off. When pre-season came around my 9th grade year I quickly realized that field hockey was something I could grow and thrive in. I have worked very hard to become a starter on my high school varsity team. Along with Field Hockey, I am also on the JV basketball team and I am a goalie for the varsity lacrosse team for my high school. I was 6 in the state for saves as a goalie. I also won most improved for field hockey and lacrosse.
I am a committed student who is capable of overcoming every obstacle that is thrown my way. I have had to overcome many obstacles such as dyslexia which is a learning disorder but that has not stopped me from getting great grades and achievements to signify my hard work. I won an English award, a reading award and a honor role award. I am also involved with full time choir and received a excellent rating in the Missouri music festival. My goal as a high school student is to graduate on the honor role and with a tri-star athlete award and to leave a legacy for myself.
