Personal Statement

I have played field hockey since age eight for the top field hockey club in Hong Kong. I came to the US in 2018-19 academic year to continue my education and compete in field hockey.  I prefer to play back line (especially center back) or defensive midfield. I enjoy seeing the whole field in front of me and working hard on man-marking, intercepting passes and transitioning from offense to defense.  As a defender I pride myself on my outlet passes.  

Academically, I perform at a very high levels in the most challenging courses.  I am currently working on prioritizing playing field hockey with my desire for a career in science or business.
