Hi, my name is Emma Capparelli and I am a Junior (class of 2025) at Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights NJ. I am passionate about both field hockey and a future career in veterinary sciences.
I began field hockey at age 11 and from day one, a goalie! It just clicked for me; the rush of watching a ball come forward and the ability to shut down an offensive attack. On the field I am quick, decisive, and aggressive. I speak to my team in play, and we work as a unit to ensure we all play our best game. I have been playing club ball since I was 12, routinely playing up as needed in tournaments; playing U19 as early as age 14. This past summer I was given the amazing opportunity to play at NCCs in Virginia with our U19 Centercourt Elite team finishing 10th overall in the nation. Summer 2023 I will be attending as many goalie camps as I can including International Sportsways top camp in Amsterdam to learn and experience "Dutch hockey"! Totally pumped!
As a freshman, I started on the varsity team and lettered. I am currently playing on the varsity team for my high school, and the starting Centercourt U16 Elite (top team) again this fall and for winter indoor.
I am a hard worker (4.2 student) who values team above all else. I look forward to discussing how my skills and passion might be a good fit for your program in 2025.
