Sports have always been a major part of my life, I've gone anywhere between soccer, horseback riding to swimming but field hockey is the one I want to pursue. I first picked up a stick eight grade at my local middle school, i was taught to work hard to achieve better things. By the time high school rolled around I wasn't the best on the team but I still worked through every drill fixing my mistakes and listing to what my peers and coaches had to say about my performance. By sophmore year I was moved from junior varsity to starting right forward on the varsity line up, I was able to hold that spot until my junior year until I was pushed back to left midfield, where I still play as a senior. My sophomore and junior year I decided to expand outside my high and sign up for futures, and eventually playing for a club team I joined as a junior. The Uprise Club team has taught me immensely, practicing with girls who have a lot more experience then myself was a little bit frustrating but worth it in the long run. Every Wednesday I traveled to Eastern High school to participate in these practices with an hour and a half drive each way. Along with competing on the weekends in Junior Premiere Outdoor league at Rowan, Rider and Princeton's turf fields, competing with club teams that traveled from other states along with teams found locally in New Jersey. Throughout my High school athletic career my field hockey team has been involved in three group one semi finals but have sadly fallen, being captain I plan on assisting my team not only to get back to semi finals but pass that by going onto the finals. With that i have been named Cape Atlantic League first team all stars 2014, 2015 field hockey season and second team all state group one in New Jersey. Not only do I used my strength on the field but also in the pool, I have been a part of my club swim team for eight years along with my high school varsity team for the past three years, also being named Cape Atlantic League all star 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-2016 swim seasons.
