Sophia McMullan '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing field hockey since my sophomore year of high school. I also have played soccer, basketball, and volleyball, but had to stop because of a series of concussions. In the past two years, I have decided to dedicate myself to playing goal keeper because I found a sport that I love with minimal risk of head injury. 

Becuase I am fairly new to the sport, I continuously work hard and strive to become better with technique and fundamentals. I am an accountable team player and I am willing and excited to learn and improve my skills. 

My goal is to have an enjoyable college experience, both in the classroom and on the field. I want to pursue my passions of helping others and service by studying and earning my doctorate in Physical Therapy. With a determined and ambitious mindset and a steady work ethic, I know I will be able to accomplish my goals.
