Emily Hyde '19 Recruiting Profile

I'm a high school junior looking for a college that will challenge me academically, while also giving me the opportunity to continue playing field hockey. Even though I play for a relatively small public program, I've worked especially hard--with my teammates and coaches--to develop into a successful player who can bring dedication and skill to a competitive collegiate program.

My strengths as a defensive mid come mainly from my game intelligence: ball control, passing, penalty strokes, and two-way play. Off the field, I have academic achievement and leadership skills, being Varsity Lacrosse Captain and the first junior in my school's program to be named Varsity Field Hockey Captain.
