My name is Michelle Lisser and I am a 5’5” midfielder from Middletown, New Jersey. I have a 3.92 GPA. I'm a hardworking field hockey player and I’m truly dedicated to this sport. I'm a determined athlete who constantly wants to become the best field hockey player that I could possibly be both on and off the field. I am both a competitive athlete and student, looking to get a win and attain high grades. My most important accomplishments were being a leader for my team, giving 110% everytime I walked on the field, and using my speed to get possession of the ball from the other team.
It is my dream to play sports in college. Knowing that I'm capable of playing field hockey in college makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up. I am the first to go to the field and the last to leave. I am also coachable and easy to work with once I get it down.
When it comes to choosing what school I would like to stay nearby. I mainly am looking at the state I live in now or other other colleges that are local to me that I am willing to drive for. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best, both academically and athletically. It doesn't matter about the size of the school as much; if I can receive a good education and play field hockey, I will be happy. My top two choices for a major as of right now is either Art or Nutrition. However, my major may change over the course of the rest of my high school career.
My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level and become the best player I can be. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to be an example/role model to those after me. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest, would keep a smile on my face.
