Olivia Stahley '23 Recruiting Profile

I attribute my love of field hockey to my 5th grade P.E teacher! She knew that I played lacrosse and so eloquently got me to put a field hockey stick in my hands and the rest is history! Being a part of my high school and club field hockey teams has been super rewarding; I have been blessed to be able to play with some amazing players, and even better teammates and friends. They have pushed me beyond my limits, and helped me to see the end goal even when my eyes were clouded with doubt.  My journey to this point has not been easy and there have been many obstacles in the way, but as my grandpa always tells me, " obstacles and setbacks are what makes you stronger".  After being sidelined with a broken nose this past spring, I am training harder than ever and I am challenging myself to continue to build momentum so that I am ready to play and develop at a collegiate level. 

 I am looking forward to playing at a school that not only challenges me academically, but also sees me as a person and can develop me into the best student athlete that I can be.
