Gia Preziotti '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Gia Preziotti and I am a 15 year old rising sophomore who started on Varsity at James Caldwell High School freshman year. I play midfield mainly but can also fill in for forward when necessary. I started playing for my town in 3rd grade and club in 7th grade. I have a big passion for this sport and have wanted to play in college almost ever since I first picked up a stick. I have been playing sports my whole life but currently only play field hockey and lacrosse. Field hockey is my main sport which I want to keep in my life for as long as possible. 

What sets me apart from other players is my dedication and commitment that I have for this sport. I feel that I am always looking for new ways to better myself as an athlete on and off the field. Field hockey has helped me grow as a person and made me the best version of myself which is why I have so much love for it. I believe that I am a very good motivator to my teammates and also have good leadership skills. 

Although field hockey is a main component of my life, I don't forget about my academics and have held overall honor roll every year since 6th grade. This year, (freshman year) I am taking two honors classes and have maintained good grades.
