Personal Statement

I'm a 5'4'' defender from Dix Hills, NY and will graduate in 2020 from Commack High School, where I have a 4.0 GPA. I have started on the varsity team since the 8th grade and earned 1st team All-County in 2017 and 2018. I play on the U-16 and U-19 club teams for Lasting Legacy and have been captain of the U-16 team for two years now. I'm part of the National Futures program and train with the level 1 group in NY, I was a silver medalist at National Futures Championship.

I am looking for a school that has both a strong academic and field hockey program. I would like to pursue a degree in the field of Journalism/Law/Public Communication. I would like to attend a larger sized school preferably in the East or Midwest. I would like to be at a program where I can make an impact on the team.
