Meg Tebben Field ...Since the age of seven I have always been a multi-sport athlete and have always loved to be on a field or court. I was born with a competitive spirit and give 110 percent in both athletics and academics. In my curiosity of trying new sports, I found field hockey in sixth grade and have loved it ever since. In my time of playing field hockey, I have been a fast learner making the club elite team multiple times, and being selected to the regional rounds of Nexus in my seventh, eighth, and ninth grade years. As well as the Nexus championship in my sophomore year. In both my freshman and sophomore years, I earned first team all state and first team all conference while being a starter on the varsity team. Though I am a multi-sport athlete, field hockey is my primary sport because it is fast paced, there are a variety of skills used, and I enjoy working together as a team. Comments that have been mentioned to me from previous coaches are my competitive nature, sportsmanship, good communicator, field awareness, and leadership with a positive attitude.
I am able to manage my time effectively off the field even with challenging classes and a busy after school schedule. My sophomore year, I took two honors classes, and ended with a 3.87 gpa. Outside of school and field hockey, I enjoy fishing, wake surfing, wakeboarding, mountain biking, traveling with my family and watching college football. My primary goal is to play for a college that has a strong field hockey and academic program.
