Megan Pons '23 Recruiting Profile

I have played many sports growing up; swim, gymnastics, soccer, basketball and lacrosse. While I enjoyed these sports they were nothing compared to how I felt when I picked up a field hockey stick for the first time. I have excelled and improved so much since I first started playing and even more  since I started club at the end of my 8th grade school year.  Since then I  have continued to play club field hockey with Charlotte Ambush and play on the varsity field hockey team at Charlotte Catholic High school. In addition to field hockey I also play on the Charlotte Catholic's varsity lacrosse team. While sports are a big part of my life I also value academics just the same. I am very hardworking in school and push myself to succeed as I am enrolled in high level classes and maintain good grades. I am looking at schools that will push me physically and academically so I can become the best version of myself that I can be. I am hardworking, ambitious, high spirited, and have a passion for field hockey.
