Aliyah Heintzelman '21 Recruiting Profile

Field hockey has had my heart since I began playing in 7th grade. My love for the game resulted in my goal to continue playing at the collegiate level.   I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically.  Recognition as a Student  Athlete is very important to me and I am equally proud of my academic and athletic achievements. I overcome obstacles, exceed expectations, and offer my maximum effort at all times. 

I recognized early on that practice and off-season work is imperative to achieving success on the field and in the classroom.   When presented with off-season and in-season workout programs I follow them faithfully.  Since competing for a spot on the varsity team as a freshman I have learned the values of dedication, teamwork, leadership, and hard work. That experience helped me grow as a person and focus on my future goal of playing field hockey at the college level. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make a positive impact on your program.
