Emma Queen '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a  junior at Aquinas Academy in Pittsburgh, PA. I am currently taking five Honors courses and one AP course . I give 110% to my academics as it is my priority. I am very driven so I set goals and I work as hard as I can to achieve my goals. My grade point average is approximately a 4.33 and my pre-college Boards (PSATS for 8/9th grade) was 94 percentile. I am also a very successful student athlete. I have a school and a club team for both field hockey and lacrosse. I have since the 4th grade. I travel all over the Eastern United States to compete. I am also a leader on all of my teams. I was voted Most Valuable Player in Eighth grade for both Field Hockey and Lacrosse. I was voted Captain in Eighth grade for both teams. I was the top goal scorer on both teams. Last year, as a sophomore , I continued to play on the Varsity team at Aquinas Academy . As a freshman  I was voted All WPIAl (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League) honorable mention and this year as a sophomore, I was voted All WPIAL 1st team . I trained in Amsterdam, Netherlands in the Summer of 2018 and 2019 at the Amsterdam Hockey Club, with the most elite International field hockey players and coaches. I am still building on those skills, but my level of play increased by 30%. I have been taught skills that will make me far superior to most American field hockey players.  I plan to go back every summer before I reach college age. As far as extracurricular activities, I have been South Atlantic regional figure skater, I currently am a Model EU student, a Choir singer, a PJAS (Pa Jr Academy of Science) Award winner, a Students of Service member at Aquinas Academy, Film Club co-head and a Athletic and Activities Committee member of Aquinas Academy.  I am a very coachable and versatile player that loves the game of field hockey and would love to be a part of  your team.
