Abigael McCue '21 Recruiting Profile

My ambition is to follow two things I love  when I go to college; field hockey and pre-medical. They both seem very challenging, but the idea of working with both of these things throughout my life has made me the person I am today.  I have been playing field hockey since I was 8 years old. Ever since I picked up a stick I always knew this sport would have a huge impact on my life.  It has taught me to be driven and if I truly want something, I have to work hard to get it.

On the field I am always alert and prepared for what's coming. I am a very good team leader, but I also learn a lot from my teammates. In school I attend all honors classes and work hard to keep a high GPA.  I am involved in FBLA I am the secretary of my class. I also attend a winter league of indoor hockey and camps throughout the summer. 

Being looked at by colleges to play field hockey at a collegiate level is my biggest dream. I plan to continue to work with determination and always strive to be my very best.  It would be my greatest honor to play for a college in the near future and I want to thank you for considering me.
