Samantha Partington '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Partington. I am 5'3'' and about 125 lbs. I am an athlete and I have endurance and speed (but I do not currently know my times). I have played on my school's varsity field hockey team for the past three years and it has been extremely fun and exciting. While being on the team, I've learned how to be a better leader and how to be more confident on and off the field. I always work hard to becoming a stronger player and I push myself at practices. After I graduate from high school, I would like to go to a school where I can play field hockey, get a good education, but still have fun while doing it. It is always nice to be close to home but if the opportunity comes up, It would be a great experience to travel and see new places. I would like to major in physical therapy or education. My family does have financial "need". Any money we could possibly recieve through athletics or academics would help us in some way. Playing field hockey is something that I love to do and I do not want to end that just because I am graduating high school soon. The game is simplpy fun and exciting and I love being able to learn how I can improve myself to become better. I want to make an impact and I want to play wherever I am able.
