Personal Statement
I am a student of 2022 and I have been playing field hockey for about 7 years. I have played four years of field and 3 years of goalie. My main position is goalkeeper because I stepped up and fell in-love with the position. I am very driven both athletically and academically. My athletics consist of three different varsity sports; Field Hockey, Ice Hockey, and Tennis. I stay in shape all year round, especially with the work I do over the summer. In the summer of 2019 I went to Amsterdam with the U16 sport Eurotour. I stayed there for ten days at the ah & bc hockey club. I took those skills and applied them to my 2019 varsity season. It raised my game phenomenally– assuming COVID is lifted by this summer– I will be attending again with the U19 team. I will also be attending, with the Nike program, a camp in London. I have attended the Williams and Boston College camps since seventh and eighth grade. This past winter I went to the CCG DIII Showcase (March 7-8 2020) and the Eastern Recruiting Field Hockey Showcase (December 27 2020). I will be attending the CCG DII & DIII Showcase, August 4-5. Academically, I have taken Honors classes but i was unable to this year due to class size. This following school year ('20-'21) I will be attending two Advanced Placement classes and a possible internship with a local law-firm. I enjoy improving my skills and applying them to game play and practices. (and who doesn't like that sweet taste of victory) I will put all my effort into your team. Field Hockey is my sport.
