Hello my name is Genna Marsh, I am a Sophomore Goalkeeper at Loudoun Valley High School in Purcellville, VA and this winter, I am playing for Metro Hockey Club on U16 Elite. Field Hockey is my absolute favorite thing in the world and I would be great candidate for your team because I always give 110%. I pride myself in always being aggressive in goal and doing absolutely everything I can do to keep the ball from going in. I also consider myself smart in goal and I anticipate and watch every shot taken so that I can give my team my all and be the best keeper I can be. Side note, the video I have up is slightly outdated because it was a little while ago and I believe my skills have improved. I will try to get my most current footage up ASAP. This season I have started working with a goalie coach for the first time and I have improved a lot. I always try to encourage and uplift my team, all while keeping them fired up because I believe no team is "unbeatable" if you want it enough. In my opinion passion, drive, and always going into a game believing you will win is the key to success in field hockey or any sport, and I always try to show that when I play and encourage my teammates to do the same. As for academics, I try to keep my grades at all A´s. It wasn´t like that last year or earlier this year so I am working extra hard to maintain straight A´s. I take all honors except for history and in the future I would like to go to school for biology and eventually go to medical school. I have a youtube channel where I will upload tape from my tournaments ( https://youtu.be/i13EVafcORg ). Thank you so much for visiting my page!
