I’m currently a Sophomore at First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia in the Legal Studies Program. I am hoping to play Division 1 college field hockey and pursue a career in either law or psychology. I’ve been passionate about field hockey since the age of 7 when I first picked up a hockey stick. I believe I have the work ethic, leadership qualities, and the diverse skills to compete at the college level. My coaches believe I am a strong leader who welcomes the newer and younger players and helps build team unity and communication. Although I have played all positions I feel like I do best in defense or in the left mid position. coaches love to tell me I'm a diverse player and they put me where ever I am needed. This has ultimately made me a well rounded player who understands the entire hockey field. This school season on the First Colonial High School Varsity Team I started as a right back Defender. Overall, I’ve been lucky to be trained by many college level field hockey coaches that inspire me to continue my hockey dreams and high academic pursuits. I plan to continue to train at advanced level to reach my goals.
