Personal Statement
Hello my name is Drew Clemmons, I am a rising Senior at Tabb High School in Yorktown, Virginia. I was introduced to field hockey in fourth grade and have been playing all year round ever since. I have been a varsity starter since my freshman year and have made an appearance every year at the state tournament as well as receiving nominations. This year my team and I finished second in the Class 3 state field hockey championship. I am very goal driven. I will always go 110% for the benefit of myself and especially my team. Another characteristic I take pride in is my coachability. I will always take coaching advice from people who want to see me succeed and show them I want to get better by putting in all effort. I also run track and have received regional and state awards and have even made an appearance at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. While field hockey is my passion, I do value my academics higher. My goal is to attend a school where I can play field hockey at a higher and a more competitive level as well as receive a great education.
