Manton Davidson '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played football as long as I can remember, It started at the peewee park in Hurley Mississippi around age 5-6. My dad coached me for most of the time I played. My favorite color is yellow so I would always wear yellow cleats. Back then I played on both sides of the ball as most players do. 

I am lucky that I have been able to go to a school that has had great teams and team mates. In middle school we won the 3A title we beat everyone in our division. I played on junior varsity and ran the defense, played some offense also. Since being on the Varsity team I have played mostly Defense. Outside linebacker, Middle line backer, I have been on the line and also on special teams. I would play at any position the coach would want me too. We went to State this year and lost against Piedmont and it was devastating. We lead the whole game until the last few minutes they came back and beat us. It was awesome to play at Auburn University. I can always say I had a sack on the field and was on the jumbo-tron. I hope that we go again to state this year and win.

I trained last summer with a trainer to help me with some things that needed work. I did football all year, not to mention in the weight room every day. 

My dream is to play football in college and get a good education at the same time. I am a good student I have a 4.0 average. I want to pursue a carrier in Math/Statistics or Chemical Engineering.
