I am seeking an Exercise Science degree and see collegiate athletics as a viable path to attaining the same.  I am a committed student athlete who understands the importance of discipline, self respect, and dedication.  Through Shotokan Karate I have learned to endeavor, be faithful, seek perfection of character, and to refrain from violent behavior.  Through living and working in the challenging state of Alaska I have learned perseverance, grit, and that whatever doesn't kill me will only make me stronger.  Finally, I am determined to carve my own path to conquer life on my own terms.
