Joey Kelly '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Joey Kelly and I play Football at Brophy College Preparatory. I am currently a freshman and play linebacker/long snapper on special teams. In my career I hope to go on and play at the collegiate level. I also strive to pursue a degree in business as a good education and academics are very important to me.  On the field I am controlled but yet very competitive. I am a committed team player and work hard to be a leader. I love the game of football and have played football since I was eight.  Off the field I am knowledgeable but not arrogant, but I recognize my talents and gifts and I know I have to work hard to achieve my goals. Outside the classroom and football field I also feel it is important to contribute to the community and I have participated in community service every year since I was 11. In the classroom I am focused and attentive to what I am being taught and I translate that to my homework. Playing this past year in the Pop Warner National Championship was a thrill and a small goal I achieved and that has made me hungry to play at a higher level.
