Zachariah Macklin '22 Recruiting Profile

There is no better feeling for me than being under the lights, wearing my  colors, and representing my school on the football field or on the track.  I enjoy playing football because there is structure and discipline,  it’s more than me; it's a brotherhood and we rely on one another.  At gametime we are a single unit and put every ounce of ourselves on the field for the victory.  

I can be an asset to your school, not just as an athlete but as a student.  I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the football field.    I strive to maintain a 3.5 grade point average or better because I recognize that the key to my future success is obtaining my degree.

I have many goals to achieve in my life and choosing where I attend college is an important step in reaching them.  I come from a patriotic and service-oriented family; service before self is paramount. Ultimately, I am interested serving my country as an officer in the United States Army.
