Caiden Brewer '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caiden Brewer, and I am almost 6'1", 242lbs. I am going into my senior year at Mt. View High School in Tucson Arizona. I will graduate in May 2013. I have played football for club teams, for junior high and for high school. I have and currently is starting on both sides of the ball. From my freshmen through Junior year I played offensive tackle/guard and defensive tackle. My primary position this year will be defensive end and tight end and I am also in the process of transitioning into a middle linebacker. I can not wait to be able to attach my senior film highlights to my NCSA profile for I feel they are going to blow last year's films off this page. I have been working extremely hard and it's going to show. When I am not at football practice, I am with a private coach working on agility, speed training and hitting the weights. I am all about team concept and being coachable. My defensive line team mates and I went to the Pima Community College High School Linemen Challenges on June 16, 2012 and won the whole thing because of team/family concept. At Mt. View, family/team concept has been hard for we have had a new varsity head coach every year since I have been in high school, but this year will be different. Our bond is different with us as a team and with our new coaching staff and we will succeed this season because of our bond. I also know at my age there are many new approaches from coaches that have played my positions that I can learn from to do my job to the best of my ability. I was at FBU in March 2012 and had the honor to be coached by Ricky Hunley and Barry Gardner. I just finish attending FBU Top Gun, coached by Rex Norris and Junior Ranks Prodigy, coached by Bryon Davis, both camps were in July 2012 and I learned a great deal from both coaches and I am grateful. The different techniques that I learned, I have already started using, I can see and feel the positive change. I can not wait until our first game. I am interested in going to a college that I fit on and off the field at. Financial assistance is important to me for things have been financially difficult since the passing of my father at the end of my freshmen year. With my father passing, my grades took a huge hit which you will see in my transcripts BUT you will also see that my grades have increased dramatically and will continue to do so. I have also chosen to retake some of my classes from my sophomore year online to increase my GPA to a 3.0 by Novemeber 2012. Right now, I am undecided on the type of degree I would like to obtain, but I am leaning towards the medical field or law. I want to contribute my time in helping others. I was raised old fashioned and through adversities of my own, I have learned the importance of family, helping others when they are down and to lend a helping hand when needed. I am strong team player/leader on the field and with my family and friends. I appriecate your time and I thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
