Personal Statement
I am blessed every time I get to step on to any field or sport and compete. Having a great junior year was fun and helped me grow, but I think the battle that made me grow the most is my battle with Type 1 Diabetes. I know first hand that life is not easy and you must stay persistent in order to recover and even retaliate when life throws its punches.
In my years in the program I am so thankful to be a part of I have learned so much about teamwork, sportsmanship, and brotherhood. No matter what we go through we prove to one another we love each other. I make sure to take the lead in making sure everyone is together. They return the favor, like when I took a elbow to the tooth mid game my sophomore basketball season. Because of the people surrounding me I got back in and played the nest game, A tooth lighter.
I've competed in many different sports. I know what it takes to compete for the starting spot and playing time. And when I don't start I'm there supporting the guys who do, and ready to help the team whenever that time come. And I would love to help your program!
